Crystal Clear Vision
Create a crystal clear vision so that the entire organization knows what they part of.
Vision is your what. It includes the goals your business is working towards, what you see happening in the future, and what your brand is part of.
Vision Is Your What
What do you see?
Without a clear vision it’s very easy for Entrepreneurs to get lost.
What do you envision? Your brand’s vision is what you see in your mind’s eye. You need to crystalize this image and articulate what you see to your employees, customers and stakeholders. Others are not able to see what you see so it is your responsibility to articulate your vision in a way so others see it as well.
People follow leaders with a clear vision and they do not like to be led in the dark by someone who can’t see. Your vision statement becomes your company’s binoculars and helps your employees, customers and stakeholders see the destination.
Big Vision
Most entrepreneurs think a vision is a goal. It is not. A vision is inclusive. It can include many goals and be multidimensional. Most entrepreneurs only envision their brand and there is nothing wrong with that. However, you can expand your vision and see a greater image in your mind’s eye; a vision that is not limited to just your brand but a bigger vision that includes your brand.
Vision Statement Examples

“Success for all. Create success from the inside out.”

“Our vision is to create a better everyday life for many people.”

“Bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete* in the world. (*If you have a body, you are an athlete.)”

“Build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm, use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis.”

“To be one of the world’s leading producers and providers of entertainment and information, using its portfolio of brands to differentiate its content, services and consumer products.”

A shared vision will unite your dream clients and dream employees through your brand.
5 Tips For Creating a Clear Vision
Be aspirational. If you achieve your vision in a matter of weeks what will you do then? Your vision should feel out of reach and require growth and improvement in order to get there. The destination is very far but your vision of the destination is crystal clear.
Infuse it with passion and make it inspirational. Both passion and inspiration will help your employees see your vision and want to reach the destination.
Use clear, concise, ‘jargon free’ language that is easy for staff, customers and stakeholders to grasp. Do not throw down a bunch of ideas that clutter the page. Be concise and use simple language so it’s easy to focus on and share with others.
Make it challenging. What your brand aspire’s to be shouldn’t be too easy to achieve, but also it shouldn’t be so unrealistic as to be discarded.
Make it abstract. Your vision should be general enough to capture your organization’s interests and strategic direction without being so finite that creates limitations for your business.
